Participation is exclusively for schools in the following counties:
Franklin County, KS; Johnson County, KS; Leavenworth County, KS; Linn County, KS; Miami County, KS; Wyandotte County, KS; Bates County, MO; Caldwell County, MO; Cass County, MO; Clay County, MO; Clinton County, MO; Jackson County, MO; Lafayette County, MO; Platte County, MO; Ray County, MO
Participation is FREE for schools but space is limited! Schools may bring a group of up to 5 students per school with 1 accompanying educator.
Why should I attend?
This FREE innovation workshop provides an opportunity to students 13-17 to:
- Develop leadership and social entrepreneurship skills
- Be empowered to lead healthy change in school communities
- Connect with mentors to learn about, design and finally pitch their BIG ideas about sustainability, nutrition, or farm-to-table initiatives in their schools
- Compete to win up to $1,000 for their school to implement their idea!
